First, let me state that this isnt a rant against my job.

Then onto the pressing matter, what is your ideal job? Me, I think it would either be a car journalist or a chef. I think car journalist gets the nod first though since I couldnt imagine anything nicer than getting up everyday and driving a new car, then getting to complain about things you dont like about it. Another great benefit is that if something breaks you phone the manufacturer/dealer and then they fix it. Awesome.

I close by making an open statement. If anyone at Aston Martin is reading this, I would be right chuffed if you lent me an Aston, even for a day. I am eagerly awaiting your call.

So yesterday (Sunday) we had the most expensive lunch we will ever have in our lives. In total it came to just under R60,000 (About USD 8400.00). The lunch itself was only R400, but the car accident on the way home was just under 60K :(. It was raining and some guy was taking a corner and lost control and started doing doughnuts and his rear end hit our front end, which resulted in the damage as seen below. Everyone is fine, including his car it just has a couple of lights missing from it, while our car is un-drivable. What a cool way to start a week

as promised i [finally] managed to upload some pics! i’ve gotsome of the gorgeous Keira (who, I believe, had her first birthday party to go to today - not even a month old and already miss popularity!) and some funny onesof the johnnic golf day for work (especially look out for the ones of jane doing the snake!)- oit was heldat peacnwood on 2 novemeber… enjoy!

Long time, no surprise.

Wow, lots to write about. Let me start with Judiet having to go into hospital on monday evening for an appendectomy. At about 8:30pm she complained that her stomach was getting worse (she had a bladder infection the week before), so I dragged her to the hospital where they concluded it could be 1 of 3 things. Her appendix, ovarian cysts, or an ectopic pregnancy. After drawing blood, they called a surgeon down to look at her appendix. He poked around and concluded that with about 90% confidence it was her appendix, and 10% that it was an ovarian cyst. Either way they would need to operate on the same area. She went in at about 10:30pm and was out by 11:30pm with everything going well. It was her appendix so it was removed. She spent 3 days in hospital on antibiotics and is now recovering at home. Still another week until she can go back to work.

I got a new laptop. An HP NC8430. Its cool. Intel Core 2 Duo centrino thing. 256Meg graphics card, gig-o-ram etc. Its nice, still getting it all setup but so far so good.

There is lots more, just cant think of it now :\ Ill post more when I think of it.
